Celebrate Faith and Community Through Music
Music is an integral part of worship. At FLUMC we strive to incorporate a broad spectrum of musical styles. We are blessed to have a wonderful Chancel Choir and a Bell Choir that share their gifts on Sunday mornings and rehearse on Sunday mornings before service. Our music Director, Dr. Russell Wagoner, has been with FLUMC since 2000 and conducts and directs both ensembles as well as plays organ and piano for our services.
In addition, there is now a coffee house that meets in our beautiful, historic, renovated “old sanctuary” space! On the first Friday of each month, local musicians come to share their talent. Locally roasted coffee, loose leaf tea and other seasonal beverages and treats are served.

Choir
Our chancel choir is the heart of our worship, enriching each service with beautiful and inspiring music. Whether in Sunday services or special events, the choir’s dedication and passion elevate our worship experience, leaving a lasting impact on all who attend.
Hand Bells
Our handbell group adds a unique and uplifting element to our worship services, creating beautiful, resonant music that touches the soul. The dedication and artistry of the group make each performance a inspiring part of our church community.
Special Events
Our music events are a celebration of faith through song. From seasonal concerts to guest musicians, these events offer a range of musical experiences that uplift and inspire. Each event is designed to enrich our spiritual journey through the power of music.
Old Stone
The Old Stone is coffee house music venue located in the “old sanctuary” of Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church. We host events once a month on the first Friday giving locals the opportunity to share music, conversation, and coffee in a casual setting.
